The Creative Wiltshire project, running from 2014-2019 was focussed on collecting and celebrating the work of the county’s creative people through a grant received by the National Lottery Heritage Fund.
Here at the Wiltshire and Swindon History Centre, Chippenham, we worked with project partner Swindon Museum & Art Gallery and other participating museums, archives and local studies libraries to widen collections and ensure that creativity is better represented.
Our aim is to continue this mission, to promote and champion local creative talent and to collect and preserve as much material as we can for future generations.
Wiltshire has been, and still remains, a great source of inspiration for us all.
