Marlborough Open Studios 2022

There’s still time to catch up with this year’s itinerary if you haven’t had a chance yet. The locations of those taking part stretch from Calne in the west all the way to Froxfield in the east. You can delight in any number of different arts and crafts from painting and drawing to photography, sculpture, ceramics, glass, wood, print making, mixed media and jewellery.

The Open Studios website contains a wonderful interactive map which can help you easily locate the studios, find out more about the collections to view, and contact the relevant creative practitioner. There’s an artist directory too which is ever so useful.

Those opening up their studios include some names that will be well known to anyone familiar with the Creative Wiltshire project: Ann Swann, Chris Dunn and John Harris to name a few. One of our new acquisitions, ‘Wiltshire Clumps’ is by the artist and printmaker Hannah Cantellow, who is also opening her door.

We are so lucky to have a county full of talented creatives who are happy to let us explore where they work – why not take the opportunity to have a tour of north Wiltshire this weekend or next – we are certain you won’t regret it!
