If you have time, we do recommend you pop into Chippenham Heritage Museum to view their latest exhibition, From Old Chapel Field, running until 17 September 2016.
The exhibition focuses on the renowned etcher and artist Robin and his wife Heather’s life together in their village home and uses new information, pictures and documents provided by the Tanner family. Their home in Kington Langley was filled with objects of beauty and interest from early folk art to collections of 20th century craftsmanship.

Included in the display is a stunning floral sketch drawn by Robin and acquired as part of the Creative Wiltshire Project.
Curator Melissa Barnett notes; “We have been so delighted with the Tanner drawing which forms the centrepiece of our exhibition and with this great opportunity to collect more recent artefacts. This really is changing the way that we are developing the museum.”
The exhibition is a must see, and entry is free!
