The many and varied items created by people in Wiltshire were on show at the Wiltshire & Swindon History Centre Open Day, 31st October 2015, marking the very first time that members of the public have been able to view the results of the on going Creative Wiltshire & Swindon project at close hand.

Acquired as part of a HLF funded project, the items are being collected on behalf of participating museums throughout the county alongside Local Studies and Archives at the Wiltshire & Swindon History Centre, a representation of the creative work, both past and present, which our county is inspiring, stored safely for perpetuity and for the benefit of all to enjoy.

Over 200 people attended the Open Day and there was great interest in the work and value of the project.
