BRENTFORD TO BRISTOL & BACK AGAIN
‘The Floating Cinema On Tour’ presents a brand new summer programme of open air and on-board film screenings, performances, talks and events created for the waterways of the South East and West of England. This unique vessel will begin its epic journey from Brentford Lock, travelling along the Kennet & Avon Canal, across West Berkshire and Wiltshire, before arriving to take up residency in Bristol in early July. The ‘On Tour’ theme celebrates and explores the rich diversity of urban and rural living, a slower pace of life and encourages a playful discovery of local landscapes and heritage through archive film and sound. Moorings include Devizes, Bradford on Avon, Caen Hill Locks, Honeystreet and Crofton in June and July.
